It is a decent job if you are going to school and just need part-time work, if you need something more you might have difficulty getting more hours. There is high turnover.

No longer cares about employees or customers
This use to be the best place to work! Great work culture, great co-workers, inclusive and Indigo really seemed to listen to their employees. Things have rapidly changed and now not even customers come first. Employees are treated as disposable and any talent you have is not valued by Head Office. All around good time
I had this job right before the pandemic lockdowns started. I worked 3-4 mornings a week for 6 months or so and got laid off due to the lockdowns. I had the job for extra cash and i loved it. Good camaraderie between the staff and management. I felt like the managers really cared. Pay is meh but that's what a retail book store is if your not in management postion. Loved it!

Best job I've ever had
The best thing about working at Indigo was the people you get to work with. If you like books and talking about books and selling books and recommending books, Indigo is the absolute best place to work. You go in and sell books and then get to go home with your employee discount books. Truly there's nothing better.

Really great, the community is so nice. Workspace is friendly and neat. It is rather wonderful, splendid, and quite to the contrary of many other employees, I rather enjoyed my experience working at Indigo as a cashier.
