productive and good work environment
Co-op placement Produce (Former Employee) – Chelmsford, ON – 9 May 2014
i learned how to make multiple different types of salads, fruit and veggie trays, fruit and veggie platters, yogurt parfaits, nacho dip, pumpernickel bread and dip, how to properly sanitize a work station, how to price everything correctly, how to do temp.log at the end of the closing shift and plenty of other things.
The management is great, all of the employees, managers and the owner himself are all very polite, outgoing people.
the hardest part of my job when i had first started was filling every section in the salad bar out on the floor, and then filing up the freezer with prep for the next day.
The most enjoyable part of my job at the Independant was working with, as well as getting to know my co-workers and management.
I was able take my two fifteen minute, and my one half hour breaks at whatever time throughout my shift i chose to.
not enough hours available.
