Combined a typical day at work with what I learned full cycle accounting, payroll, benefits administration, insurance review, recruitment, SR&ED tax credits, wage subsidy grants, co-op hiring, training and development, employee handbook development, organizational development, multi-jurisdiction HR legislation. How to influence and persuade top level executives to benefit the company through their people and through their bottom line.

My co-workers were creative and technical people who really loved the creativity of there work and discovering solutions

The hardest part of the job was coordination of travel arrangements through assistant

The most enjoyable part of the job finding and securing large amounts of grant and tax credit money and working with CEO, CTO, CFO and top level executives with similar mindsets
