Working at the Refinery is a fast Paced environment. Great experience meeting the contractors. Management is pretty understanding and good to work with most of the time. Their is room for Advancement if you are willing to stay and prove yourself. Overall it is a good experience and I enjoyed my time there
Good Pay, Lots of Overtime, Good Co workers
Odd Supervisor likes to power trip
Impact Security Group is a good place to work. Managers are trying to teach their employees kindly, and this company has a systematic management system. In recent, as the business expands, it is expected to become a more valuable company for security guards like me.
Impact Security Group treats all of their employees/guards very well, and we as a collective group make sure the public and properties remain safe and protected at all times 24/7.
we get our required breaks
sometimes the replacement guard is delayed in getting there, however, we are compensated fairly if we have to remain on site just a bit longer

If you wanna be guaranteed that you will get screwed over every time you jump through another managers hoop, then Impact is the company to work for. You can guarantee that sign contract will not be followed. Expectations will change at the drop of a hat regardless anything else. Management seems nice, and they can be easy to deal with sometimes but not worth the stress and headache you will get any other time. Set wages in a contract and guaranteed to not be the wages your paid, if they pay you.
Leaving the company

I've been working for Impact Security since November, 2018 and I have found that the work/life balance is about even. There will be times that I would get a call to fill a shift. When I am unable to for some reason (whether it be plans I could not get out of or with friends/family), management understands and tries best to find someone else. Shifts will come in bunches, so it's always good to have open availability
Working with the Operations manager is awesome as well.
Working with the Operations manager is awesome as well.
whenever a shift comes up, it usually brings unexpected events but that's the most fun times. What I learned from working within this company was being alert at all times of your surrounding area, individual or thing. The management was meh at the time cause the scheduling was switched between evenings and mornings without any warning unless you call your supervisor. The hardest part of the job was probably when you have to deal with violent/ intoxicated individuals and the most enjoyment part of this job was probably was the awesome co-workers.
decent pay, awesome co-workers and supervisors.
The job site that they posted me to. Was a place to learn new job skills like a higher level of customer service, checking in/out vehicles coming on to or going off site. Learning more computer skills, locating vehicles on site or if they were on site.
If you in with management its ok but bullying is brutal. The Hr is unproven, payroll is inept and managers are shysters and cheats. Stay away from this cesspool. Believe no one
This has to be the worst company I have ever worked for. There is a lot of bullying from managers. If you don’t agree with something or voice your opinions and even stick up for yourself, they will ostracize you and you will end up getting no hours or even fired!
Sneaky management, favouritism, poor pay, poor hours
Impact has horrible management. Theynare never happy no matter what you do. High expectations for low pay. They could give you no shifts for many weeks and yet expect you to be available when they need guards. Also hours are not steady. Could not have imagined a company worse than this.
Management; hours; pay
For your average guard there is virtually zero chance of making more then what you make starting, Which isn't anything to write home about. Management is actually pretty flexible but when they get desperate for workers they can be pretty stressed.
If you work well you'll have very little issues, Management is flexible.
Management can be intense when they're trying to fill a position someone called out or noshowed for.
