Being advised of certain reports that are needed for a given division of the IRB, I may request to create a dataset to be able to create reports using specific information from the database (called NOVA).
Once the dataset is ready, I test the dataset to ensure that it works as defined in the request. Once it is operational, I prepare the dataset operational user guide that describes exactly what the intent is of each field and how the user can use it. Once finalized, I then record all this information in a Wiki page for future use by the affected users and our group.
What I learned: During my carreer, I have gained an excellent understanding of the Immigration and Refugee Board; of general operations of tribunals, of data entry and monitoring, and documentation writing, in both official languages,
