One of those careers where you learn very little, Contact Centre=Dead End
Account Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Toronto ON13 October 2018
Very reactive environment. Get use to having to constantly 'out fires'. Management never remembers your qualifications. If you're hired on the bilingual team, expect to never leave because they never have enough people. It's a very clique-y and bias environment. Mngt promotes their preferred and ignores the rest. Very high turn over rate. Your entire team can change in as little as 3-6 months. The contract positions are human exploitation. It's a very thankless job. Management always being pulled into meetings, very little time for developing you. Contact centre vacation schedule is a lottery system, and no vacation from Jan-May. Worked there for 3 years. Horrible experience. Human Rights should investigate.
Pros
Corporate environment in the heart of downtown
Cons
They once laid off a group of people returning from maternity leave...at the same time.

Opportunities like no other & a market leader
Director, Knowledge Management Programs (Current Employee) –  Toronto, ON13 September 2018
IFDS is a rapidly growing company and like any other organization they have pros & cons. Been at IFDS almost 3 years and have learnt a ton about the Mutual Fund, Transaction Services, Record Keeping, and TA business.

As any growing company, there is constant change to stay on the leading edge of the market. Some people can handle this environment, and some can't. The organization will give you every opportunity to grow, expand your knowledge, move into other roles & departments but it is up to you to make the most of what this organization has to offer.

What makes IFDS unique are it's people. Employees look after each other, it's a true "TEAM" environment and as we all know, there is no "I" in team.

I would strongly recommend potential employees to consider applying for open positions and joining this highly dynamic organization.
