The company was flexible. The pay was okay. Towards the end, the company was not the same as what it used to be. Overall, had a decent experience and learned new things.

Productive

It was still growing but still a wonderful workplace. Flexible hours, catered lunches, and nice people. Everyone were hard workers and worked well together to complete our goals.

Great Phone Repair Start

This is a good company to work for to get your feet wet. This company however is not good for seasoned veteran. The pay is very poor. Everything is handled via email for support or customer relations.

One of the great internet startup companies of all time.

Read "Only the Paranoid Survive" by Andrew Grove "Becoming Steve Jobs" this is the level of Awesomeness. Radical Candor is a book that reminds me of the type of sophistication you get when you work there. They respect you and everyone respects each other.

Pros

Everyone there is top notch.

Cons

I do not wear Converse.

Techs made no money

screens were overpriced. the company wanted you to purchase all parts through them which were over price leaving a small profitable margin for the tech employees who worked for the organization.

Part time job

Quit because I was in school and didn’t have time. I was working full time at another job, kids in school, and they had after school activities also. So it was hard to find time to meet people and fix phones.

Pros

Meet good people

Cons

If u mess up phone it comes out your pocket

It was a great opportunity and wonderful learning experience.

Overall I really enjoyed this job. I was always meeting new and interesting people and the best part was I never knew what to expect from one customer to the next. Most repairs were very simple and quick fixes, there we a handful that were challenging and made me think outside of the box to troubleshoot the issues at hand. The most rewarding part of the experience was seeing the customers face when I handed them their phone back fully functional, you could see the weight lifted off their shoulders with a smile and lifted spirits.

Pros

Gained technical knowledge of Apple products and how to repair them.

Cons

Inventory was always short.

Great Company Lacking Management

There is great work to be done here and great skills to develop, unfortunately there is not much consistent direction coming from the top. The company has poured money into avenues which have failed to generate a return or benefit to the company.

Pros

Autonomy

Cons

Management/ Office Culture

Fun SIDE job

i did this job, full time for about 3 years, it was fun. you get to meet some really cool people. You basically work when you want. The downside is business gets slow and you might not have work so i would only recommend doing this part time, or on the side. local shops around here basically choked me out with their better pricing. working for icracked you HAVE to use their parts and their parts are pretty expensive which causes your prices to generally be higher. another downsid is having to do warranty repairs for customers. you are compensated for the warranty (parts only) but its a long process and generally just sucks to deal with. It's a risky business but if you have the money to invest in it and want a side job then go for it. You use your own car / your own gas and you buy your own parts and tools.

Pros

Make your own schedule. Meet cool people

Cons

Buy your own parts. Wear and tear on your vehicle. Warranty repairs.

Good if you can afford entry

It costs A LOT to get started with iCracked. With no real ability to recuperate the initial investment, it's clear how the company makes its money, the chumps that buy into the company.

Great for small cities and big cities

Working as part time student was a great source to learn from, and getting money at the same time. You work as a licensed iCracked affiliate you will establish your business presence to increase potential repairs.

Franchise agreement - Independent contractor

Their business model is a concierge service, meeting customers, on demand at the customer location. Too much time spent travelling to earn enough to make it worthwhile. Too much liability for the money earned. Interesting work.

Pros

Interesting work

Cons

Too much liability for too little return

Work to Learn not to Earn.

Fun and engaging. Great opportunity to work in a late-stage start-up, not great for those looking to grow financially. Very top-heavy organization, very.

Very laid back, and flexible.

It was a great experience being able to onboard technicians for a nationwide company. A slight change from a normal sales job! Even though i was also selling, there was a lot of recruiting involved as well, which was exciting and new. I learned a lot about what it takes to keep a network of technicians updated and as well generating revenue for the company. The hardest part of the job was having no advancement in the company. As well as the compensation being low for the kind of revenue we generated for the company. Ultimately i learned a lot, and worked with some great people! Just time to move on with bigger opportunities.

Pros

Flexible, unlimited PTO

Cons

no opportunity for growth, poor compensation
