What is the best part of working at the company?Absolutely nothing. A terrible company to work for. Everyone is expendable, no matter how hard you try to do a great job. Never met a single person who actually liked working for that company.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Never knowing the actual moment that you'll be unemployed.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Completely toxic, especially from the higher management.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Depressing having to go in, and can't wait to leave.

Good place to kick-off your hospitality industry career

Overall it's good to place earn your hospitality industry experience as you will be challenged and it will improve your interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with customers, colleagues, etc.

Good environment, lots of good people to work with.

Face paced and stressful job

Upper management underappreciates your efforts and always giving more work. Have no idea of day-to-day operation. Hard to deal with unionized employees who are trying to control you.

Overall it is a good place to work. It's unionized, good benefits, people are nice. They strictly follow what union agreed. Work life balance is bit difficult since it's hotel industry.

Bad place to work

Poorly run organization. The union basically controls everything which doesn't allow for any kind of flexibility or freedom for anyone who works there. Great place if you've been there for over 10 years and don't really care to be honest or work hard.

The people, culture and colleagues are great. Moreover the management and the bosses are amazing, always supportive and bring out the best in you if you have to advance. Union is not a big pain and blends well with understanding the management point of views. All colleagues are great to work with.

Good place to grow your career with job security and benefits. Friendly environment to work. Training is provided before leaving you independently to work on your station . Higher management is very friendly and helpfull. Very flexible wit your preferred shift .

Not a bad place to work

Unionized hotel job right in the middle of downtown Toronto. Very accessible to get to and from. Fun and friendly staff and coworkers. Managers on Duty are awesome, and they deserve raises for all of the stuff they have to deal with. Upper management is not the best, they seem to be MIA/inattentive most of the time.
