Good benefits and salary. Room for advancement. Long hours. Main complaint is they have other people in same company selling different products or services to same customer and they might tell you to back off selling your product as they want to focus on getting a different product into that customer. Pretty frustrating when you’re selling to a customer and told to stop bc they want to sell something different. Then you don’t get your commission and no apologies or compensation for it. I prefer a more medium size company.

I was a financial analyst in the FP&A team of GTS before it was spun off to Kyndryl. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and skills working in this place which make me really grateful. Here, i developed not just strong tech skills but also great work ethic such as continuous improvement, productivity, honesty, and integrity. Also, i was fortunate to work with the nicest and most supporting manager, KB. I left because of personal reasons. I regret it ever since - most importantly because i let her down because she needed me there when i left. I surely learn from this decision and my experience at IBM made me really strong as CPA now.

Didn't hate it. Didn't love it. Team was very supportive of me, plus they had on-site parking (not sure if that's still the case). Do not drink the coffee they supply. It's disgusting.

Luck depending on your position

If you are part of a relax groups, you will not do anything and still get paid. Other groups are more fast paced so it is up to luck were you end up.

IBM in my experience is very relaxed in regards to work. It is also relatively harder to get higher band level roles as its very occupied by people who have been there for way longer.

Poor culture and work environment

IBM Vancouver is not a great place to work, as you are expected to work 50-60 hrs/wk and raises are in the 2-5% range. Many of the partners are in Toronto, making it hard to get to that kevel here. Lots of travel. Great place to quiet quit.

C'est du travail manuel non physique. Culture des années 1980 . Côté salariale il y a des différences entre un homme et une femme pour le même poste et le même nombre année expérience.
