Understaffing is a huge problem here.
They just can’t seem to find nurses that want to work there. There has been a lot of recent turnover in staff and management. On the plus side, parking is free if you work in Seaforth.

Toxic environment
You are just a number and they really don't care about us, our work life balance. It's a bizarre place to be. It's lacking team work and it's full of division amongst the departments.

Cooperative environment, highly recommend
We have a close knit community at all of our sites, welcoming and warm staff. Plenty of work and for those looking for a step up in the workplace, there are many opportunities for growth. Many of our staff are close to retirement. We need new ideas and people!

Amazing place to work!
I'm leaving HPHA for another opportunity soon, but it's been an amazing place to work. Healthcare is undeniably stressful, especially with a global pandemic thrown into the mix. The senior leadership is the best I've ever worked for. They are compassionate, emphatic and work hard to make HPHA a great employer.
