Productive

I was a nursing student at HRH, I did all my placements in various departments and I loved it. My final placement was in L &D and I had a great Preceptor and team. Best hospital I will ever want to work.

Great colleagues despite busy workplace and management turnover

My experiences at Humber were positive solely because of my colleagues. Units are busy and workloads can get heavy. Lots of turnover with in both frontline staff and management.

The people and team is wonderful...

the people and the team is wonderful, but there are no PSWs or nearly enough nor there are consistent externs for daily tasks, given the unit's heaviness

Nurse Student

I like the experience as a nurse student at this hospital, if I could return to work I will do it here.Teamwork, the workplace culture, and the hardest part of the job the patients but it is a good place to grow.

Ugh - Clean out required

The hospital is not a bad place. Many staff work very hard to give the care that is required. Administration is messy - from the leaders to the support staff. Very toxic environment and not what you would expect from a healthcare environment.

Pros

Newer hospital

Cons

Toxic environment throughout the hospital

Decent workplace

Humber is a decent hospital, very digital based care. Management is supportive as well as the staff. Work-life balance is good, you get to have every other weekend off.

Nice staff and management. Job is physically tiring.

Management and staff are accommodating and understanding. Physically tiring for nurses. Hospital needs to hire PSW staff to lessen workload for nurses, to delegate feeding, bathing, pericare and dressing.
