Monotonous Work
Assembly Line Worker (Current Employee) - Alliston, ON - 22 September 2023
Hard on the body and the mind. Great pay checks if you can stick it out and do the overtime (some overtime is required, some is voluntary). They care most about getting the vehicles made... but that comes at the cost of people being over worked and therefore getting hurt.

Good payment and Benefit and rewards
Production Associate (Former Employee) - Alliston, ON - 19 September 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? You will have many opportunities to develop and improve yourself. People are mostly friendly and helpful unless you are the bad one. Benefits are good. Paid weekly. Overtime work is rewarded enough. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? It is a fast-paced job under pressure. Most co-workers are very helpful, still it is better to improve yourself as soon as possible. If you don't know about how to move your body in safe way, your body will screaming soon. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Many good people and less stress from people, and it gives you energy to work. If you want to explore and find a new path to grow, you will never get bored. If you just want to get money, you will get what you want. But in that case, you can find easier job from other company. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Start with finding good parking spot. The parking lot is huge. Better be earlier. The morning team meeting gives idea how your day will look like, and it happens as expected. When the job is done, you are free. Finish with traffic jam. Because everyone want to go home at the same time.

Works for some, hard work for all
Sales (Former Employee) - Markham, ON - 22 August 2023
The company does try hard to keep employees satisfied, but often has trouble actually implementing changes or policies to improve things for everyone. Sometimes it seems like the employees who don’t really care about their jobs are supported more than those who work hard and late.
Pros
Product discounts, benefits for full time employees
Cons
Long hours, challenging deadlines, high pressure

good people to work with
Budget Analyst (Former Employee) - Alliston, ON - 16 August 2023
The people are nice, secure jobs, and it's hard to get fired, and hard to get promotion But it's a little bit too far away and it's in the middle of nowhere.

Good
Student Production Associate (Former Employee) - Alliston, ON - 2 August 2023
Student work was alright. Never assigned to a specific zone, just doing everything around the plant, if you’re full time though, you get a zone. Pay is good, people are alright. Would end up going back if need be.

Jobs at Honda
Productive and Positive
Production Associate (Current Employee) - Alliston, ON - 2 August 2023
Everyone is really nice and helpful, even people in other sections of Honda. They know you won’t be 100% right away, especially if you’ve never done anything like manufacturing work before. They support you whilst learning, and are there to help.

Working at Honda has been a fulfilling experience. The company's commitment to innovation and quality is evident in every aspect of its operations. The work environment is supportive, fostering collaboration and personal growth. Additionally, Honda's emphasis on employee well-being and work-life balance makes it an attractive place to work. Overall, my time at Honda has been rewarding, and I would highly recommend it as a workplace.

Production Worker (Former Employee) - Alliston, ON - 1 July 2023
If you like working for a foreign corporation and working like a robot this might be the job for you. The pay is good and shifts are steady eddy but it's not for me.

good place to start but not long run
Project Manager (Current Employee) - Alliston, ON - 19 June 2023
good place to start your career, learn alot depending on the department but in long run comparative salary (to other companies) goes down as you move up the corporate ladder.

If you fit in, it'll be great
Warranty (Former Employee) - Markham, ON - 9 June 2023
If your manager finds that you're a good fit, they will start to favour you and groom you to join the management track or promotion track. If you happen to be a man that plays hockey, then they may invite you to be part of the boy's club. Don't expect the job description for your role to be accurate to your daily work tasks. If someone doesn't like you they will move you.

Pay is good
Assembler (Former Employee) - Alliston, ON - 8 June 2023
The pay is good, but lots of petty old people. Not based on performance, but rather who you are buddy buddy with in management and seniority. Repetitive tasks but you switch rotation every 2 hours.
