Nothing but good things to say about this company. A bit of a stuck up company attitude but, well deserved. They are a high end company dealing with high end clientele so, therefore, expectations are high
Above average salaries
managers are nlot very supportive. staff are all commission driven so no coporate culture or incentives to work together in team environment. all very numbers driven so hard to get management to back you on anything .

Started working at Holts in the spring. Had to wait over a month for an interview and a onboarding session. The store is great and %90 of employees are super great. The managers are a tad under trained and not qualified for such fast paced operations. Be ready for managers to ask you one thing and tell you to do another.
Management incompetent, you don’t get paid enough to deal with the problems you get daily. Corporate team horrible and never improves, your voice as any employee isn’t taken into consideration. The only good thing about the job is how relaxed it is usually, but other than that if you don’t have a good team around you, it’s a massive headache and not worth the amount you get paid

Super busy and fast paced. Learned how competitive the retail industry is. Management is also bound to deliver and the stress level in high. Quiet, and high end. The hardest part of the job was to be able to collaborate with management. Working in a store with high end fashion. The management and team sometimes did not collaborate. The social aspect of work was diminishing.
Hours were being cut.
Parties happens over there every couple of months. Nice people to working with. High efficiency and team work. it was a good experience for people who want to get into the retail industry.
At the beginning of employment, I had training for 2 weeks. One week learning about the culture of Holt Renfrew and what it means to give good customer service and one week at a location for more training.
Management not always available
I worked in management here and it was by far the worst job I've ever had. they were not supportive in any regard, the pay was horrible, and management was an absolute joke. I would have gave a 0 out of 5 review but that wasn't an option. I literally don't have 1 good thing to say about them
This place went downhill a few years ago and has kept it's downward spiral. Poorly run by people who barely know what they are doing. Management treats their staff very poorly. Stay away!
