Banquet Server/Bartender supervisor in Moncton, NB

Loved working there. People and staff were dedicated to making sure things were up to standard.
Great place to work . Worked as a team . Work could be stressful but rewarding when you see your functions set up and service to the client being appreciated. A typical day of work is different depending on the set ups. The best part was when you were given good feedback from the clients.

Too labouress for the pay
Employess dont get paid what they are worth. They want you to finish at specific times without regular working hours. Only get 4 hrs per shift if that. And if theres longer times they tell you to hurry up.

Good hotel & management under toughest of times
The hotel has one of the largest meeting space in downtown Kitchener. It was renovated not too long ago. One of the best things to work for this property is its brand visibility as premier IHG property in the K-W area. The senior management especially the current General Manager is very supportive and believes in nurturing talent. The hotel itself has over 200 rooms and boasts of a full fledge activity centre in the area. Has an onsite mid range full service restaurant along with room service option. One of the USPs of this property is the location. Within its vicinity is the headquarters of Igloo Software, Sunlife financial and many other regional corporate offices. If not for COVID, this hotel would be a prized trophy for its ownership.
