discriminatory place of harassment culture, poor safety standards

On the surface it seems that it is a decent place, but thats just on the surface. I have noticed disregard for the safety standards of personal safety, PPE, heavy awkward lifting, working near deadly voltage/energized equipment without precautions. Workers dignity is also disregarded insofar shifts, or rude narcissistic behaviour from the higher management. I disadvise you to be part of an environment where discriminatory ethnic remarks are carried out by Operations Mgr or even termination threats out of the blue (on the side) if you voice disagreement on some aspects of what constitutes you own red lines. Workload is not evenly spread, often unrealistic tasks and the work-life balance is simply not there.

Maintenance manager needs more people skills. He has no desire to listen to explanations or to answer questions regarding some aspects of the work needing to be done in building. Always berates staff loudly in front of other staff members. Does not keep word about pay raise after trial period. Has no wish or desire to accept other ideas for other ways to do some jobs in maintenance areas. Is always suspicious of staff members in his department.

Not equal opportunities to everyone, no benefits ,although I was working for an agency, too much task for the salary, no promotion.sometimes when loaded, absence of people it's look like do it or leave it, you feel like threatened to loose your job or never had a raise or promotion if say no for too much work.
