Good job, bad pay
I love working in Hoilday inns, The staff is usually great. The job is like a game, sometimes stressful, sometimes easy. You will usually get poor pay and raises will be the bare minimum (cents a year). I get it for people who do the bare minimum and don't care about doing a good job, but even the people who work themselves to the bone are treated the same, so it really puts a damper on morale. Avoid this company if you want to get a better opportunities to grow.
They have to put more effort with the quality control overall. The staff should give the best in everything they do, not just going to do hours. Most of them think because they have seniority they are allow to do nothing the whole shift other than just walking around, wasting food or go to the office when you are not in charge. Besides, someone has to give the employees motivational talk, because they do the minimum for the guest needs. Pool Attendant in Winnipeg, MB

fun workplace
I’ve enjoyed my time at Holiday Inn, it’s a great place to work for anyone in school. it’s not a very stressful job. you learn lots of skills while being here. i would definitely recommend this job to anyone. it’s a fun environment if you love working with kids. The best part of working here for me is being able to make guests stay feel amazing, letting them know they can relax while on vacation and have a great time. You learn to have lots of responsibility as you need to ensure the safety of all our guests. F&B Manager in Kingston, ON
