This question of what is the most stressful part of the job is best answered by describing what the job entails and what’s required as a professional home cleaner. You no doubt clean your own home and have an idea of what’s required – namely, cleaning all parts of bathrooms and the kitchen, dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors. The difference with Hire A Maid is that we provide training on our award-winning and systematic cleaning methods, teach you how to best organize your time and approach tasks, train you on which products and tools to use and when, include detailed instructions for each home on our company mobile app, and have helpful office staff who are here to provide support whenever you need it or have questions. Having a great eye for detail is essential for the role and to get the most out of the training and job, you need to be organized, manage your time well, follow the training and client instructions provided, and – most importantly – you need to care about the quality of your work and want to do a great job. If any of these requirements are missing, you could find the job difficult or stressful. In addition, on deep cleanings (which is about 5% of the work we do, while 95% are routine maintenance cleanings), it can be stressful when we arrive at a deep cleaning and find that the build-up is higher than the client indicated when they booked the cleaning. However, when this happens, we ask the client to either approve more time or to reduce the tasks to be completed in the time approved. It's important to us that you are set up for success by having the time needed for quality work. No matter your career choice, starting with a new company can be stressful. I have my regular clients that i do alone and some deep cleans i do alone which is fine. for bigger jobs we will work with another person
