Training

Grow and Develop at Hilton Hilton believes it is critical that our leaders and Team Members have the necessary knowledge and skills to do their jobs effectively and have the ability to grow and develop personally and professionally. At Hilton there is a world of learning opportunities ranging from on-the-job training and virtual courses, to management development programs and learning seminars. Hilton University Hilton University (HU) is a virtual, global university that offers an extensive training curriculum to provide each Team Member across our organization with direct access to the right skills, knowledge and learning experiences to be successful.  There are more than 2,500 different courses that are delivered through classroom training, e-learning, webinars, e-books, live and taped programs, on-the-job development experiences, social learning and apps. Curriculum is offered through five distinct Colleges: Hotel College: Hotel management and Team Members study brand standards, compliance and other topics to enable our hotels to meet and exceed expectations. Owners College: Hotel owners and franchisees receive training on brand standards, compliance and other topics to enable our properties to meet and exceed expectations. Commercial College: Sales, revenue management, eCommerce, reservations and other commercial services Team Members learn how to maximize revenue and leverage global marketing programs. Leadership College: Senior leaders receive a curriculum of executive and leadership development programs and experiences to ensure a ready, best-in-class leadership pipeline. General Studies College: All Hilton Team Members, supervisors and managers have access to a variety of training programs and learning experiences that enable ongoing career development. Executive Coaching Executive coaching is also available to Hilton senior leaders who want a unique opportunity to explore options, test out ideas, while gaining clarity and self-insight. Coaching offers feedback and guidance in real time, helping leaders utilize their strengths and enhance their skills.
