Lots of beers after work.
Prepper/Painter (Former Employee) - 6804 75 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 5A9 - 7 March 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedHigh expectations quick turnover little chance to move up in the company. Poor quality repairs were often passed onto the customers. Cars are repaired in an assembly line sort of system little care was given for hidden damage. Body techs often dumped more work onto the preppers. Paint and primer usage is recorded and evaluated constantly for cost saving purposes.
Pros
Free lunch sometimes, training & updating.

Hard on the employee
Painter (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 4 July 2019
Employee rotation is high due to lack of respect and no flat rate pay structure for the refinish side. Sick days are not respected. Management is too concerned about their own bonuses and not the employee.
Cons
No human relations.

Our pay structure in the refinish department is designed to encourage teamwork within the department, and we’re sorry that wasn’t your experience. We do try to respect our stakeholders’ sick leave requirements, as outlined in our sick day policy. Our Management Team is consistently striving to make the employee experience a good one – if you feel like this was not the case, please feel free to email us confidentially with more information at hr@herbersautobody.com.
