Great people, although stressful workplace

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
A planned workday can take a sudden and drastic shift to a necessary response to an emergency (or two). This can create additional stress and work in rearranging one's schedule over the next few days (at least). This is just a fact of life in any healthcare service business and one which prospects should be aware of.Coworkers here are generally supportive and will help out when they can. Occasionally, working into the later afternoon or evening may be necessary, but this can be minimized to a degree with planning. Management has also been very approachable and open to assist with problems or hear new ideas.Overall, a better place to work than MANY others. Just be on guard against the stress!

Supportive team-mates, management. Better than average pay. Occasional free lunches, company get-togethers. Company vehicle or car allowance.

Some days can be long — start early/work late. Surprise emergency calls. Workload can be stressful.

Low energy place

This place gives you free food to try and get you to be happy. They want To get you fat so that you can stay and never leave. Pay is well below average.

Decent place to work

Good place to work if you live in the Denver/Ephrata area. It doesn't pay as much as some of the other local companies, but the benefits are pretty good. The management is good but they do have their favorites. The average work day isn't bad. It can be physically demanding if they have you picking all day.

Horrible Place to Work! Run!

First day on the job was terrible. No communication and I had no idea what was going on. You can lump it in with all of horrible warehouse jobs to avoid. Avoid at all costs.

Busy workplace

I worked at Henryschein for 7 years, training was good and involved traveling to different countries to gain the knowledge required for the varied products I supported. Job prospects were static, pay was below average, the wage I left on I was earning the same in 2010, since leaving my wage has increased by 35% doing the same role.

Management execrable

Solid company

Great people , comp package could be better . Onboarding and training is painfully slow. Need to be excellent at learning on your own as senior management is often overwhelmed with their own day to day.

Giving Back

This company is great with giving back to the communities they are located in. Great learning and advancement potential. Team oriented environment.

Great Atmosphere

In my time at Henry Schein, I learned a lot and made many great friends! The job was easy, training was quick, and once you’re out on your own there’s plenty of people to assist you! Clean, fun, and low stress are the ways I’d describe the place.

There's no good there it's all bad

They dont care about you they have a high work revolving door if you make it thru the day without walking out after 30 mins it's not the employee it's the work it self and the employer if you like being treated like dirt and s*** then that's the job for you HATEEEEED IT

They so slim back stabbers. They say one thing and do the other. They have the wrong Supervisors in charge that don't have no nuts to tell u the truth

Glad to be here!

The culture here is great, we get to work as a team and individually to accomplish our jobs. We are respected and are highly trusted by many professionals. The benefits are amazing!

Employee Events

The company treated its employees with lots of food events that were good and also cool prize events. Work was okay but some of it was based on a numbers system that you had to maintain such a certain percentage that it could be hectic if they didn't have enough people hired or working that day. Also if you were a good employee and put in honest work and effort you were expected to maintain that everyday you worked and even picked up slack from other employees that don't feel like working. Really unfair as it felt like you weren't allowed to be human and have bad days.

Great place to work but can be stressful

I enjoy working here, but the staffing levels have been stripped back so much since covid 19, that it can be very fast paced and stressful. My immediate manager is fantastic, but it gets worse the higher up the chain you go.

Work life balance, flexibility to wfh good pay

Working flat out, no ability to cover those on leave

Great Company Except for the Low Pay

Great people, awesome benefits, flexible schedule, easy work. The only problem is the low pay. Good job for high school and college students. I would still be working there if they paid more.

It’s decent I GUESS.

This was a pretty okay job at first, it does get quite tedious doing the exact same thing over and over again, but you get used to it. My issue was with the higher ups. They’re very rude, but always have a smile. They degrade you with a smile so you don’t understand they’re being rude. The pay is not worth it- it’s alright, but not enough to make me stay in a place where I’m constantly being mistreated for almost no reason. The job itself isn’t too bad, but the managers and supervisors were unnecessarily mean- especially when most of the workers are in HIGH SCHOOL. Imagine a grown adult basically bullying a teenager outside of a work area- but since it is in a work area: it’s acceptable? I don’t think so.

easy to get hired, decent pay if you’re in need of money, weekly pay

rude management.

Overall good company

Company is good, benefits are great. Vacation starts with 4 weeks. Co workers are excellent. No mandatory OT. You have to do your job and do it well, but as long as you do that you will have no issues.
