Too many injuries and unsafe air quality
Production Sewer (Former Employee) –  Dartmouth, Nova Scotia13 March 2014
I learned to sew like a mad woman and go potty at the speed of light. I enjoyed the work but nothing else. Production sewing causes long term physical injuries and visits to a physio clinic. You are only allowed to stand to get to washrooms and lunch room. Repetitive motion injuries are common place and not necessary in this factory.
Pros
No pros that are worth working there for.
Cons
Tendonitis, unsafe fumes and air particles, work shortages, no natural daylight

Retail sales
Full-time Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  Edmonton, AB4 July 2013
I work fulltime evenings which generally includes the organization of the store, providing customers with product knowledge and advice, following closing procedures, but I am looking for a more mentallly fufilling job rather than retail sales where I could potentially have room to grow within a company.
