Hire and fire policy. If your superior doesn't like you, you are out. Supervisor was rude and harsh and drove me to tears. Petty politics and back stabbing. Restrictive and stifling work culture. Not recommended.

Company is not patient focused but sales driven. Clinicians are continuously micromanaged and pressured to meet monthly targets (which are often unrealistic). Their high turnover and continuous advertising to hire clinicians says a lot...

Management doesn't care about the employees and have no clue what they are doing or how to run a company. They set unrealistic goals and don't send them out to the team on time. They flip-flop on processes and procedures. There is constant turnover and they are cheap and pay under market and there is no appreciation for hard work. They also micromanage employees. Do yourself a favor and don't join the organization. Run far away!!

Enjoyed working at Hearing Solutions, great management and team. Flexible scheduling, open door policy made it great for when I felt I needed to resolve any issues.

The head office only focuses on sales not the health care aspect. Does not follow its own Mission, Value statements. Extremely high turn over rate. Disorganized. No communication with any employees. Do not work here!

If you're looking for a stress free, easy job then you have come to the right place. As long as you're doing what is expected of you, then you shouldn't run into any issues. Management is supportive, and the HR and Finance departments are amazing! The finance department is really well run they will always help you out. I love working at hearing solutions, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for work. I am not too sure where all the bad reviews are coming from- obviously they weren't doing their jobs properly or they weren't grateful for what they had at Hearing Solutions. Further, its a great company- seriously- great company

The management isn't the worst but they definitely pile a lot on them so managment doesnt have time for your s*it. The turn over rate is ridiculous I have never met so many people in so little time. People I worked with were awesome and getting Jewish holidays off is a plus, I hated when they needed you to help them out on a day someone called in sick always felt guilt tripped into doing things at the beginning until I was able to say no to things. Also felt bored my time working, to pass time a lot of girls would online shop on surf the web, but doing this for 8 hours of your day drags the day on.

Management offers of help were only words. Quite often told to read manual to figure out any problems. No support. Juvenile behavior among managers who often claim to be very busy but in actual fact are doing personal errands etc. Gossip runs rampant throughout company with a lot of back stabbing. Horrible company to work for. No benefits.

Hearing Solutions is different from other clinical jobs I've had in that the company is big enough to have some clout (biggest independent in Ontario) but small enough that you actually have a voice and can be part of the changes. Feedback is viewed as a two way street both given freely and regularly to the employee and expected in turn (also quite regularly) so that the company can adapt. There are expectations around performance but that's only scary if you don't intend to do a good job...and the fact that there is a lot of transparency around it is kind of nice because most companies have goals and expectations anyways, they just don't always share details on what they are, how they come up with them or how you're expected to achieve them. Hearing Solutions offers lots of job clarity in terms of procedures, training and support (more than anywhere else I've seen or heard of) which is amazing for new clinicians but also anyone as you know exactly whats expected of you. There are also lots of opportunities to be involved in other ways which keeps the work interesting in other ways. All in all, it's a great job where you get to help people every day and can feel supported because the other employees (front staff, management etc.) actually care how things are being done and that people are getting the help they should. As a bonus the team has a lot of fun when they get together as a group (which is fairly often).

Great work environment, Very positive and easy going, The team and management are very friendly. Regional Manager is amazing with being flexible when making schedules, Also makes them far in advance which helps when planning ahead! As part time, we schedule in any walk-ins for a future date, make appointment reminders by phone, keep clinic clean, help organize and maintain client files, etc

Don’t work there.....avoid at all cost. terrible management ! and culture no support from superiors. Nothing is ever good enough poor pay and little or nothing increases.... only for management at head office !

Terrible Management, Very high staff turn over. Your concerns or Issues are never taken seriously. Bullying tactics by supervisors,your work is never up to standards at any time. Constant work reviews and self accessment required from beginning. Heavy work load but little pay for CSM’s Would not recommend this company to work for ! They preach Their out to improve the quality of life for Clients..... it’s all about the $$$$
