Overworked and Underpaid

Department Supervisor (Former Employee) - Pickering, ON - 18 October 2022

You are worked to the bone. If you don't hit your numbers given, which is not realistic for the everyday person. They push you and punish you if your not hitting your quota, even though you've come close. This is why people are constantly getting injured. Some are severe and others are minor but people are still being overworked because of management. Harmony Logistics is now called Aspect Logistics.

Productive and fun workplace

Productive and very fun workplace, if you are not feeling good you can tell the team leaders and they will give you time to relax or if you want go go home. I like the points every month and the free food every time theres accomplishment and holidays sometimes

Job security, advancement is there. Excellent pay and benefits. Nice co-workers. Lots of free lunches and games throughout the year. Clean warehouse safety is no. 1 priority.

8-10 hour shifts; back-breaking work picking orders, some with extreme weight involved; constant push to meet quotas; management looks at you as just a cog in the wheel - easily replaceable; multi-cultural with many misunderstandings and lack of communication between workers and between workers and management; breaks are timed to the minute; big lunchroom; some team fun activities

fast phase environment of work

ORDER PICKER (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - 18 May 2020

Very fast, productive, and fun workplace. they always have activities for employees every month, like basketball, barbeque, free lunch, and some give away. The only bad thing is you will work Saturday and if the volume is high they will implement mandatory 1 hour overtime.

great teamwork

had orders played through a headset which I found was good, learned how to efficiently pick orders with minimal movement, management was helpful in some instances and not so much in others, hardest part of the job is to meet their expectations of picking %100, what I enjoyed most was the teamwork, everyone helped each other out without any biases

Coworkers are excellent at Harmony but the managment sucks, literally suck, they favor their own friends and rude to the new hires. Used one of the best warehousing company but now a day they brought all the aggressive team leaders which they don't have previous experience in warehouse or management.

This company changed ownership. They were a joy. Happy i did cherrpicker job.

Very productive place

Very multi-cultural, productive, and supportive environment to all its employees. It offers flexibilities to employees who modifies schedules for family needs out works when their work schedules happened to collide with issues related to family affairs.

Lots of internal hiring but poor managment

High turnover rate, hard work at the bottom level. Not exactly equal expectations when it comes to everyone's work and some favoritism. Decent supervisors but poor management at the upper levels. Good place for a transitional job and good benefits

I had a good time with Harmony management and team members, and I was a valuable employee to them. Harmony Logistics embraces multicultural work ethics and expect all it team members adherent to such culture. The work was easy as long as members learn how to drive their double power jacks decently between the racking and pick up right products for delivery.

Fun and Productive

Forklift Operator (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - 11 April 2017

Work safe and work hard. I learned how to help my fellow employees inside the warehouse. The management puts our safety first. The hardest part is when it's winter time and we need to go outside to place the chock to keep the trailer safe so it doesn't move. The most enjoyable part of the job is when it's busy and time flies by fast.

poor management

the team leaders/supervisors were very disrespectful to the team members. They have favouritism and greatly unfair to other team members who's truly working hard. Supervisors in the morning are the worst. They even swear at you if they think you're slow not minding if you're picking heavy stuff.
