The work is easy, can be a bit emotionally draining. The environment isn't very good and management is very hard to work with. The money is really good and benefits are great if you manage to get full time position. Most people work as part- time and pick up shifts, most of the part-timers get full time hours.

Good work place with some cons

As someone who was working a min wage job then coming to join Hamilton health sciences its like I struck gold most jobs you start new in this company you start as on call, no garenteed hours. Most jobs will start 22~23 an hour + 14% which puts you at 26 an hour. (the 14% is if you are on call) The jobs will have you working hard for your money, jobs like porting, cleaning, delivering mail...

The Hamilton Health Sciences is an excellent employer. Through terminal cleaning of hospital rooms, I gained experience utilizing chemicals and cleaning agents to disinfect all surfaces of the room so the next person to use the room would not become sick. Great pay and benefits

Lots of multi taskings, co workers are fun, great place to works, all boss's are fun and schedule is excellent, all postitions can include part time, full time, weekends only, very flex as per life style!
