Strong Job Security
It’s corporate health care. There are good areas and those less desirable. There are good lines and lines that can be toxic. A good manager and a good line can buoy you up against the Covid storm of stupid family members, but the reverse is also true. I have experienced more good assignments than bad...so that’s good.

Toxic negative work environment employees treated almost as two different classes of people
Very negative work environment. Toxic work/employee and employer culture. Huge divide between medical professionals with degrees/management etc and the other medical professionals considered support/front of the line/reception/clerk/customer service staff. No room for growth/promotion. Pay is capped at 2 years. Can be reported negatively to management/employee health for taking too much sick time, put on a watch list. Code of conduct is a joke. If you do your job too well, it’s a problem instead of positive reinforcement/praise.

Toxic work place
Too much at once. Need a new CEO that cares about people. More worried about politics than his own organization and people. Many good people that aren’t acknowledged for their work and bullies promoted. No priorities. Raising concerns punished.
Client Relations Manager in Hamilton, ON

Negative workplace environment, higher level positions are not on merit or competency, lack of work/home balance, toxic work environment
Not a good workplace to grow & advance. Toxic workplace, HR is useless in intervention, fairness is not a concept considered or implemented. Too many negatives to relay in this small box.

Great place to work and wonderful team!
HHS is a great place to work. Strong leadership team and great colleagues across clinical and non-clinical areas. Healthcare environment is of course challenging, but we work with a lot of inspiring people who really care about the community and patients we serve.
