Working environment
The environment is very conducive. Great co workers making working less stressful and fun. The communication bewteen the office and the staff is also impressive as they make sure they have all the necessary information for both the staff and the cleint so they both can prepared before their booking.

Great Enviroment
Great Environment to work in. Coworkers are amazing. Management is understanding. Hard to work there as your only job because its very hard to advance in the company. Shift work and hard to get benefits because of the way rotations are set up.

Great start
It's not a bad place to work. Work is fairly easy, most clients are amazing. Management puts psw staff at a lot of health and safety risks. Both buildings have a lot of gossip and drama between workers that management needs to get a lid on. On site supervisors at all times would be ideal would be a great job for rpn's.
Pros
Great clients, workload balance
Cons
No one supervising, unsafe environment in client homes

Guelph Independant Living
A typical day has a set list of bookings you are to follow as well as being on call for all other clients in the building you are in. I have learned that I love being a PSW. The hardest part is seeing clients suffer and the most enjoyable is seeing them smile because something is good or done right or they are just happy to see you.
Pros
Nice clients
Cons
Not enough staff

A place where you can work and still have a productive life
I go from home to home helping people in need, my co-workers are wonderful and help when your in need. The hardest part of the job is going back and forth from my home to Guelph and then back because it's alot of time and gas, also seeing people upset is really hard as well. The most enjoyable part is knowing that your making a difference just by being there and doing the little things that you do not just for the client but for the family as well.
