constantly large turnover and feels like your job is on the line daily
very stressful work environment, new managers constantly coming to the plant with new directives, high turnover rate at corporate level with corporate visits weekly to change targets and pressure is put to fire employees that make mistakes. This is a new role for most of the staff and my approach was to coach and learn from mistakes to avoid them in the future. New Director of operations told me to fire certain people and when I did not I was told that I was not trustworthy to follow commands,
Working at Leclerc was the most unstable work environment in my whole career that it was affecting my health. I worked very hard to adapt and learn which I did. I am proud of what I had accomplished in the project phase of building the plant which was completed in 9 months and started production, owners were pleased with having the project completed ahead of schedule. The production phase was intense with the feeling that I could do nothing right with tons of pressure and multiple bosses giving different targets.
