Mixing Operator/Assistant Team Lead (Former Employee) –  Scarborough, ON21 January 2019
I spent 4 years at Griffith in the production department and I can say that there is a great camaraderie among the workers, generally. Any confusion and angst would come from above at management level, with a lot of conflicting paths to seamless production and client satisfaction.

If you're just there to put in your hours and go home then you will face little in the way of obstacles.

There is a great social culture for those who are interested in getting to know who they work with. A lot of it is provided by the company itself like an annual open-bar workers' appreciation, annual company picnic, Christmas party, annual banquet and lots of other charitable events in between.

For those who end up in production you may find that you find yourself at work more than at home due to the excess overtime provided.

JUNIOR CULINARY TECHNICIAN (Current Employee) –  Scarborough, ON20 November 2018
As a junior culinary technician, I spend most of my day assisting the chefs or food scientists by batching samples that are either sent to the client or is tested on product. Occasionally I assist with the preparation of dishes that are using products produced by Griffith Foods to market to customers.

I have learned so much from the food scientists and the chefs, they are all friendly, knowledgeable and provide a nurturing environment for everyone to grow within the food industry.
Pros
Knowledgeable staff
Cons
Can get super busy at times
