Cook (Former Employee) – Parry Sound, ON – 10 April 2019
This resort goes through a lot of staff! The kitchen at this resort would be okay if you're just starting to learn, however, if you are a seasoned cook and have previous experience I wouldn't waste your time. There is no opportunity to advance, as there are no kitchen titles and the kitchen staff are set in their ways (don't like change or new ideas...?) There are benefits, but in the off season you're lucky to get 4 days/week. Summer is suppose to be rockin here but I didn't make it that long - boring slow season and some of the staff gossip like crazy/ are two faced.
Good Place to work if you are ok with irregular hours and dealing with guests who are sometimes a little crazy
Front Desk Agent (Former Employee) – Seguin, ON – 20 January 2019
Grand Tappattoo Resort is a good place to work but sometimes it can be a bit much with some of the guests that we got at the resort. Open 365 days a year so that can be one downside to working there as someone always will have to work Christmas.
great people to work for
Can be long hours, not fun to get to in the winter, open 365 day a year so some will have to work Christmas.
