Among the worst leadership experiences
Hired for a job, they slowly changed the job they initially hired me for to something I've never done. Give me no direct manage, ZERO relevant training and then "dotted line" me to a USA manager who lack of care, coaching and support led to the worst environment you could imagine. Tried to performance manage me out but they had zero proof other than their own incompetence. Talent stay away from Grainger!

Metrics ruin what could be an amazing company
Everything is just numbers. The clients are numbers, the employees are numbers. Even if you are making money and getting customers to spend more with Grainger, all they care about are planned customer meetings to bring up their metrics. Harassment and belittlement from management, lack of ethics and customer service. People who put their head down and underperform are rewarded.
