Thank you for your question - employment as a Graham employee is contingent upon satisfactory completion of education (where applicable) and criminal background checks, employer references, and employment verification. In general, the background check takes about 48 hours, but can vary from case-to-case.

They are very supportive. They gave me a company vehicle when out on projects. But not much else for perks

Great question! While strategies will vary from opportunity to opportunity, preparation for an interview really starts at the application stage. It's always a good idea to develop a strong understanding of the company, what we do, and our values, even before applying - it's as important that Graham fits your needs as your employer, as you fit our needs as an employee. Also, you'll want to review the requirements of the opportunity itself and highlight any matching skills/experience you have developed, or transferable skills you would like to highlight - sometimes a match in job title doesn't match the requirements of the role.

During our interview process, we will explore your background and experience, accomplishments, goals, and how you have approached certain situations during your career. Come prepared to discuss these in detail, and be specific in your examples. Ultimately it's about fit; as an employee-owned company, we are very proud of our culture, and the capabilities, experience, and work ethic our team delivers to our clients. Your interview is a great time to show us you've got what it takes!

Lastly, remember that the interview also serves as an chance to seek clarification on the role, Graham as an employer, or any other particular details; come prepared with any questions you may have.
