Just a very short term contract but i really enjoyed working there. It was a post-retirement position for me so i loved it. I would highly recommend working for the government of PEI.I would have loved to work longer but it was made very very clear from the job offer that it was only for 6 weeks and there was absolutely no possibility of renewal (funded position).

A good place to work

I enjoyed working with the Government of P.E.I. They were very accommodating and pleasant. Hours were alright because I had to travel but otherwise no complaints.

Was able to deal with client on phone and in person. Able to resolve clients problem quick and timely and they were able to continue doing their jobs.

OK to work for

The only issue that I had is it was impossible to get onto a long enough contract to obtain benefits. I would have continued employment if I had been guaranteed a long contract.

I loved my work term

I loved me work term at the Sherrifs office. It was very interesting and challenging everydayI loved getting up and going to work.

Home Support Worker (Current Employee) - Montague, PE - 20 January 2013

Assist with bathing, getting dressed, light meal preps, light housekeeping. Some visits are just a drop in to keep a check on meds being taken properly and overall health.As a Home support worker we are the front line to all our Nursing and management staff and are required to keep them up to date and aware of our clients conditions.Its a good job as sometimes we are the only people some see during the run of a day, and its very satisfying seeing their smiles when we come to the door.
