Marketing Coordinator (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 28 September 2023
The marketing coordinator job was a great opportunity to gain experience in the field. The team was supportive, and I had the chance to work on various marketing campaigns and projects. However, the workload could be overwhelming at times, and better time management tools would have been helpful. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience

Fun place to work
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - 6 September 2023
Working at Google is like stepping into a tech wonderland. The company's commitment to innovation, cutting-edge technology, and a vibrant corporate culture is truly inspiring. One of the standout aspects of Google is its work environment. From colorful, open office spaces to free gourmet meals and on-site fitness facilities, Google prioritizes employee well-being and productivity. The opportunities for personal and professional growth at Google are limitless. The company encourages employees to pursue their passions and explore various projects, fostering a creative and entrepreneurial spirit. Additionally, the chance to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry is both humbling and intellectually stimulating. Google's commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident, and it's heartening to see the strides made in creating a more equitable workplace. The compensation and benefits are competitive, including stock options, health coverage, and generous vacation time. However, it's important to note that Google's high expectations for performance can translate into a demanding workload at times, and the pace of work can be intense. Also, as with any large corporation, navigating bureaucracy can be challenging. In conclusion, working at Google offers a unique blend of innovation, opportunity, and an unmatched work culture, making it a top choice for those seeking a dynamic career in technology.

good
Software Developer (Former Employee) - Ontario - 30 May 2023
This company has gone from bad to worse in the last few months. New HR department are not the right fit and employees are being let go everywhere. Unfortunately they are all seen as untrustworthy and forcing CYA policies on us. This is not a family anymore

Loved working there
Quality Assurance Technician (Current Employee) - London - 30 April 2023
Google is one of the world's most well-known and successful technology companies, and it has a reputation for having a highly competitive and innovative work environment. As a Quality Assurance Technician at Google, you would be responsible for ensuring that the company's products meet their high standards for quality, reliability, and usability. One of the benefits of working at Google is that the company is known for offering its employees a range of perks and benefits, including generous salaries, stock options, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, and a variety of on-site amenities such as free meals, fitness centers, and recreational activities. In terms of the day-to-day work of a Quality Assurance Technician, you would be responsible for conducting tests and evaluations of Google's software products and identifying any issues or bugs that need to be addressed. This can be a challenging and intellectually stimulating job, as you would be working with some of the most advanced and cutting-edge software products in the industry. Another advantage of working at Google is that the company values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and strives to create a welcoming and inclusive work environment for all employees. This can be especially important for members of underrepresented groups in the tech industry who may face discrimination or other challenges in their careers. Used to be a fun place, not anymore
DevRel (Former Employee) - Canada - 26 April 2023
Don't go near Google now. They don't care about the employees anymore! The workload is getting larger and there are a lot of budget cuts. But I enjoyed working as a DevRel, however most of the times you don't know how your work is impactful. You have no way to measure that!
