Must be willing to work hard and. Work longer than expected. Can be extremely stressful dealing with clients and management. You have to have a passion for this kind of work or you will get burnt out quick.

Employment stability not very good there

When hired for 3 month probationary period it seems that they wait until the 3 months is over and decide to let people go the day after so they don't have to cover them for benefits etc.

Unbelievable agency

Working for the good shepherd sure is an eye opening experience. Staff members are treated differently, depending on what kind of pull/connections you have or how much of a fuss you'll put up in the face of adversity. If management thinks they can take advantage of you and you're not a strong advocate for yourself, you'll get treated very poorly and denied some of your most basic requests. You ...
