A typical day at work would be going up to the manager and seeing where you'd be placed in the store. I learned how to talk to customers, making them feel good about themselves.
Management is excellent with teaching and fun to be around.

Co-workers are fun to work with, starting competition as time went by.

Workplace culture is professional and efficient . The hardest part of the job is making sure customers feel good about their experience as well as their purchase from Armani Exchange. Each customer has different needs.

I enjoy the competitive environment that push me to be better at my role.

I have gained great knowledge on the skill of selling and interacting with team members to accomplish a goal. The hardest part of the job is managing all associates on the floor all while maintaining the top seller reputation. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to expose your self to new social skills every time there is an interaction to new customers. Knowing how to compose yourself when approaching a customer is essential to going about the rest of the interaction with the customer.

Never work here. All employees did not get paid for 2 months and then were paid in cash. GM was stealing money but whole company is corrupt. HR was a nightmare.

This area was about only service. Service training, development and self growth. Many classes and courses are taken as you learn the company and it's roots and focus

Very challenging environment. The team works on its own. Upper management and HR are awful. They will never respond to any concerns or to emails. The opportunities of advancement are next to none since they will always bring external people to take on the management roles. I would not waste my time with this company. Even though the discounts are a plus the price and quality of the clothing is pretty bad. Also, they are so disorganized they confuse and mislead customers with sales, prices etc. you are going to have to deal with mad customers since the upper management, district and regional manager won't care since they won't have to deal with the complains. There is no type of retribution for your work, the incentive program is ridiculous you will never make comission and they never review the staff nor hold any staff meetings.

Great injustice to the brand. The management are highly incompetent and do not care about management or staff.

No room or routes for progression. Did not even give uniform and clothing allowance until 4 months in to the job!
