Excellent and good workplace

I believe this is best achievement i had with gexel. They care a lot Durning the training. They had experienced trainer.best for work from home. I had the best experience to work with gexel.

Okay place to work

Okay place to work but management has to try give the workers a hearing ear to the changes that will benefit the company. CCR's do not only take calls but they get to know first of customer needs and complaints.

Disarrange system and very poor service to clients and employees.

Very very poor work. They don’t afford sufficient training but just push you on phone, they don’t want afford service at all, but they need people “being there” to have more contracts with these companies who buy their services.

A unique BPO that stands out in culture, lacks in vision and competitiveness

Gexel has the likeability factor that most BPOs don't have. A small private organization with friendly, supportive leadership which allows for frequent internal promotions and opportunities to showcase one's talents and skills when the time is right. Management salaries are significantly below industry benchmarks, however they make it up with decent benefits and mental health programs in addition to above average work-life balance. There's opportunities in the overall long-term vision and where they fit in the current BPO landscape. Investments in higher salaries and top-tier talent (IT and leadership), as well as expanding their verticals to more in-demand industries would be recommended.

Great team and terrible leaders.

I worked for a long time in the company but the company is very disorganized and dishonest.The leaders are not leaders and don't help you, they only hinder you.I don't recommend anyone to work at Gexel.

Decent starting place

Pros:- Work-from-home- Interesting material on some campaigns- Fun colleagues- Kind managersCons:- Poor management with high turnover; lack of clarity and consistency- Low pay - Shift rotations can be unfair and last much longer than what initially promised in the hiring guidelines- Little workplace culture or team building - Monthly bonuses hardly ever honoured- Lack of significant growth opportunities

Bad salary and no possibilities to move up

This is a company where you will work for a different company. For example Bell, Videotron, etc... But you won't get paid well and there is no possibilities for you to get a raise. Now let's say videotron and gexel thinks you are great, well... You won't get any promotions. Because you don't work for videotron, you work for gexel. Gexel can promote you inside gexel but never inside videotron. And going up within gexel is very limited and i highly doubt they pay well. Training was also very rushed and overcrowded.If you want a job for long term, this is a bad place to apply. If you want a job for a few weeks/months , it's still the last place you want to apply because they will pay you better elsewhere.

Stressful

Apply here if you're desperate. They don't care about their employees. You're just a number. The supervisors are very inconsiderate. They forget that you're human too. Very high turnover.

Fun at first, but got hectic afterwards.

At the beginning it was fun and the colleagues were nice to work with. However, as it got busier, the focus was primarily on quantity rather than quality.

No transparency

Gexel is only a good place to work when they need you. If you are in a campaign which doesn't have a high season they ill not care about you, give you a warning for every small detail, and eventually get rid of you. Super micromanaged, not in a correct way. They will change your schedule and hours so much without notice

Terrible

ce sont des patrons ignorants qui m'ont dit que je suis subordonné et qu'ils paient mon salaire et que je dois faire ce qu'ils veulent peu importe que cela me touche ou non, ils veulent changer de campagne sans avertissement et tout le temps comme si nous étions des esclaves et robots.

Not mad

You gain good experiences for your next job. If you perform, you get assigned more responsibilities, but do not expect a raise from having more daily tasks than the majority of the employees. You are a number to them.

The pay DOES not equal the level of involvement and knowledge needed.

We are officially known as 'registration agents' but our job is WAY more than that.We work in the travel industry and the actual reservation of a trip is about 25% of our workload. The rest is spent figuring out how to help the client get out of a bind, find credits from previous trips, etc. All of this work and there is NO COMMISSION compensation on the part of the client. We do all the work yet get nothing in return. I LOVE what I do but this is a situation then needs to be looked over seriously by management as we have a ver high turnover rate and this is bad for the clients.

Work from Home - Have a nice team of colleagues and supervisors

Cons

Computer system often problematic, the pay REALLY does not equal the level of knowledge needed to do this job right, management too focused on 'rules' and not enough on actually treating the client as they should.
