A great place to work with supportive colleagues
Generali Global Health Services (GGHS) is a company which has a supportive and collaborative environment. The staff are always ready to provide their assistance and work together to meet the client needs. The management provides guidance and the tools required to be successful in your role and your career. Frequent socials allow you to get to know your colleagues and build relationships.

The positivity and team work provide a great atmosphere for staff to show their strengths and contribute to the growth of the company.


The company is an international company which allows staff to obtain knowledge of healthcare practices in various countries around the world. It is definitely an exciting industry and it provides an opportunity to expand your knowledge base of the international market.


I would highly recommend GGHS for anyone who is looking for a position in the International Private Medical Insurance industry.

Stay away at all costs, you will have no future here
The company does not accommodate for growth within, they would rather keep you within your current role instead of promoting you. Salary is embarrassingly low compared to other companies in the IPMI industry, you can work there for a year or more and still be receiving the same salary.

The GGH Group overall is losing money on their main business, 'cost containment' is an ominous word you will hear floating around from conversation to conversation. They are making drastic cuts, limiting unnecessary spending, which includes hiring as well as promoting! Good luck getting a full time position, they would rather hire and give poor crash course training to temps.


Upper management is unwilling to make changes based on critical feedback from employees about their roles, work/life balance, and of staff in leadership positions who are not suited to lead a team whatsoever. There is a lack of communication on protocols and workflows across departments, employees who have been there for years that still are not aware of certain processes. Some employees there who are unwilling to adapt to new changes and trainings being implemented, who have been there for over 5 years.


Workplace culture and overall environment in certain departments is awful, stressful and is a hinder on job performance. Everyone is depressed, and pressured to meet their targets. They do not care about your wellbeing or life, you are simply another body to push out numbers to meet their demands. You will have no future there, this company is going down the drain, do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs!

If you want to know what a dysfunctional company looks like, apply within. If not, stay as far away from this company as possible!!!

This company has no future, people are depressed but the worst thing about this place is the work culture. Management is horrible, micromanagement everywhere. No appraisal system, just the blame-game. This positive reviews on posted about this company is all written by the HR department to attract new employees, so don't be fooled. There is an extremely high-turnover rate with this company either because this place does not pay its staff enough or because of the disgusting work culture.


There is no synergy between departments, Directors and VPs of this company are nowhere near qualified to be in their positions because they're running this company to the ground through stupid business decisions. This company does not invest in its employees nor in itself. Job description says employees are allowed to work from home, this is a blatant lie. This is a failure of an insurance company, let alone a company itself.


If i could give this place zero stars, i would.

Great work environment with very helpful and knowledgeable management. Continuous training giving you the necessary tools to succeed. Global company meaning being exposed to international healthcare industries. Great work/life balance, free parking and good benefits. Overall a great company to work for.

Good start for a career
Its a good starting ground to jump start your career in medical insurance. Its nice to work with people who are expert on the field. However career growth is slow.

No advancement, no structure, hardly any management
No room for growth. No management structure. THE COMPANY FIRES PEOPLE AT WILL SO BE WARNED. Politics is everywhere. No policies or procedures in place, so everyone does things differently. Bullying is the norm with upper management, which filters down. There is a revolving door of employees as the company has no retention procedure in place. On the plus side, It is not a bad place salary wise as it is competitive. Despite the down sides, the rank and file make it not a bad place to work, just don't expect to stay long.

Place is run by a handful leaders- no support
Good salary, management does not care about their staff. Not supportive to new employees. Zero flexibility. Micro management is the norm here. No one knows what they are doing.

Great people and interesting work. Lots of change/downsizing in 2016 but positive improvements in 2017! Lots of growth now and in the future. Free parking, fun events and good changes in the office.
