They’ve started throwing in some ‘out of the box’ questions, because everyone has a copy of the old ‘STAR’ questions from back in the day.
Questions where there’s no wrong answer, but qualitative and therefore subjective.
‘What’s the last management book you read?’
‘How many people where at the London knights game last weekend?’
‘A VIP customer announces that they’re coming doe a visit tomorrow. What do you do?’

Perks are generally only applicable to permanent employees. For example, there are 6 extra “GD days” that tag onto a long weekend and Xmas. Contract employees do not get paid for these days, and are highly discouraged from coming in to work on those days. Six unpaid days off adds up at the end of the year to over a week of lost money, and contractors aren’t highly paid in the first place. Some agencies don’t even tell you before you accept the job that you’ll be out money.
