Gardens of Parry Sound Management reviews

Worked there for almost 2 years - I loved the job and loved the residents! - A lot of variety in the position - Pay was sub par - Raises were often missed because “you’re getting a raise later” (often due to minimum wage going up or similar) - Management did not always conduct themselves in a professional way - There was a lot of passing the buck and favouritism. You could throw the pay grid out the window. All in all, I stayed as long as I did because it was a fun job and I love to help people and make them smile.

Not a good place to work

Not a good place to work at all. Too much back stabbing. Residents are great don’t like the way they are being treated. I would not go back to the Gardens at all. A bad place to work. Staff come and go constantly

I enjoyed working with the PSW’s and management there. They are understanding. I learned so much from them. I enjoyed looking after the seniors who lived there. I found the job very rewarding.

Easy going, but, stressful..

Due to the pandemic all workers are overstretched.. The employees and management are great to work with. The residents are wonderful, and very understanding of the employee shortage. The gardens has a great benefits package as well.

Pay is too low for how much we do

I think the only reason why I stayed here for as long as I did was because I was mainly there for the residents. The place is always short staffed because they pay minimum wage.Management was nice but weren't the best and probably could do better. Honestly I don't suggest working here unless you are already financially stable. Because this job will most definitely not help pay all of your bills.

Beautiful building with amazing staff and residents

A fun fast paced environment, management overhaul has changed the dynamic greatly! Competitive wages for the area with benefits to boot!! Great job security in this covid world!Would recommend to anyone out there looking to be part of a caring team!

this place is absolutely atrocious to work for, management doesn't care about employees. pay is horrible also never got a performance review and raise after probation period like I was told I would. overall hated working here, do not recommend.

Stressful, baddddd management

Very stressful, top management terrible definitely plays favorites, doesnt have a clue how to manage people or treat them with respect, no appreciation, bad pay, beautiful building , great set up and awesome residents
