6 weeks and if you fail a test during this time you're done.
The training itself is 3 weeks, but it may take some time before you are sent out for training. High possibility that you will be a pre-cert for the first few months then you get sent out for testing. Once passed, you will be able to become a full fledged screening officer. WARNING: If you fail your tests, written, x-ray, etc, you will be terminated on the spot.
After you receive your RAIC pass, which can take up to 3 months or more. You will go through 6 weeks of training before you become a certified Screening Officer.
No training really just expect you to do your job, no input.
