Unionized, company hates that
Work is work. Supervisors are company men. You, as a number, are easily replaced. The supervisors make sure you know that. You pay a deposit for your uniform.

Productive and fun work environment
Gardaworld is an amazing company to work for. If you want to be part of a great team that is growing, work for Garda. There is room to build skills, they offer online training and moving up in the company is an asset.

Bad company to work for
Garda is not a good company to work. In my opinion it is not well managed. Employees are not treated with respect and equality. Managers choose faces to give good contracts "well paid".

Poor management, no organization whatsoever
Working at Garda was the worst job experience I have ever had.The supervisor was disrespectuful and had obviously no interest in his job or his employees. He constantly talked down on employees and wouldn't answer questions from new employees. The schedules were a mess: you could work 6 days in a row without a two-day weekend while others employees were given 4 days off.I would not recommend working there to anyone.

Interview questions

They already know if you are being interviewed, they ask availablilty, if you are bilingual, can you legally work in canada, do you have a car, why do you want to work here and name a time you gave exceptional customer service. If they were planning to interview you they give you a time in this case for the next day, if not you just wasted more of your day and are sent home. Honestly if felt like they went in with a list of those they wanted already and the ones on that list that passed got interviews, for the rest you're just a testing number and probably just get the form letter in a week saying no thanks. If you write the tests and pass you should get a real shot at the job but I've read this is not reflective of the company at all. People aren't treated very well at Garda.
