Office (Current Employee) – Winnipeg, MB – 9 May 2019
I have been with Frontier for over 2 years now. They are a great company to work for especially right out of school. They give you the opportunity to learn and grow within a role. Their is lots of room for advancement if you show ambition to learn your role and excel in it. The work load can be a lot at times but it gives you the opportunity to gain more experience. Management has open door policies so if you have questions or concerns you can bring them up. Internal training is provided and the company does a lot of cross training to allow you to learn what other people do.
Data Entry Clerk (Current Employee) – Winnipeg, MB – 18 March 2019
The people are really great to work with. CEO is very approachable and friendly. Management is typically open to suggestions which is a great environment. Bonuses paid twice a year which is awesome. Work life can be a bit stressful but that comes with the industry. Company does nice events for their staff like lunchins and BBQ's.
A lot changes in the organization very quickly, the industry is very chaotic and regularly in flux so this is fairly normal. Good work for problem solvers. There are many roles and responsibilities so what you apply for or are hired for might not be what you end up doing. And what you're doing may change dramatically for business needs.
good hours, smart creative thoughtful team, always new experiences
easy to work overtime you don't enjoy, you can get a lot of flak for the flaws of the industry (ie service areas and Canada Post issues)
Supervisor, Freight Audit and Accounts Payable (Current Employee) – Winnipeg, MB – 16 November 2014
You work hard to get thru the auditing processes and many times you work thru your lunch break. But overall, the company is very good at recognizing your work, work ethics and is extremely open to ones views.
