Bad Management
Route Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC11 August 2017
I worked at Frito-Lay Canada for about a year, I expected much more out of such a big company, They make you do so many extra things over & above your job description and time (commision based job). The most dissapointing part is how cheapily run the company is. About 90% of the company trucks don't even have air conditioning. Don't waste your time here, don't get suckered into advancement via seniority. From many people I have talked to Pepsi Co Beverages is a much better experience if you want to be a Sales Rep, way more perks and better management
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Everything other then the pay & benefits

Just walk away!!!!
Route Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Peterborough, ON26 November 2013
Management chooses not to do their job properly and when it gets noticed by senior managers they just pass the buck to the lower employees on the totem pole.

Employees look out only for themselves. No team mentality. just looking out for their own paycheques.

Almost everyone cuts corners in some way. Those who take pride in their work end up having to clean up the messes and mistakes of other people who have worked there long enough to know better.
Pros
Great pay. Good benefits.
Cons
Long hours. Minimal employee turnover means minimal advancement.

Route Sales Rep (Current Employee) –  Saskatoon, SK29 March 2012
The company only cares about money, they pretend that employees are important but have shown time and time again that money is all that matters, poor managers who only care about sales and not about your concerns.
Pros
ok pay, good benefits, free chips
