Working at Frilly Lilly
Working at frilly Lilly has been a huge change and breath of fresh air for me in terms of management and care for the employees. We’re team oriented and look out for one another which helps when you’re working a busy day. Our location stays busy and we have a lot of help from management to maintain a fair schedule.

The perfect balance of rewarding and challenging!
Head office team genuinely does their best to ensure all stores and franchises are successful. They have started introducing new strategies and have handled the pandemic with compassion and understanding. The culture is fun and challenging and the girls at the boutiques are all friendly!

Good place to start but can’t really advance your career.
It is a great place to start because they teach you a lot, but they shortly after expect you to bend over backwards to help them without compensation. The people at head office have favourites and if you aren’t one, they make you feel like anything you do isn’t good enough.

2/10 do not recommend
When people say that family businesses are like cults, this is exactly what they mean. Expect extreme friction from the higher ups with zero communication if you don't drink the Frilly Lilly kool-aid. Don't expect any vacation time around Christmas to spend with your family either, as you'll be at work while management is at home with theirs. Extra work for no extra pay is very common, and they'll often add new duties to your job description after you've already signed an employment contract.

A dynamic and rewarding job!
I have been at Frilly Lilly for just over a year now. I have made amazing relationships with my co-workers as well as upper management. Head office is always putting in the effort for the best communication to our team! Coming from a job beforehand that had terrible power trips and bad communication towards its employees, it is honestly very fretting knowing that Frilly Lilly is just a huge family that seems to always have the best interest towards all of their employees!
