Great Place for advancement
Store Manager (Current Employee) –  Ontario27 June 2017
Freedom being a new company has a lot of focus on promoting from within. It is a great company to build a solid foundation with. There are some areas lacking in the training to new management roles. But upper management takes feedback fairly well and implements change in a relatively timely manner.

Great people in all levels of the company!
Pros
advancement opportunities
Cons
can be sloppy with training and communication

satisfactory workplace with not so good management
Retail Specialist (Current Employee) –  London, ON22 March 2017
Worked with a dealer of Freedom Mobile. The training isn't satisfactory as a result of which employees make mistakes and then are unjustly penalized for it. Attitudes of management are sometimes very derogatory not to mention unhelpful. Inexperienced or uneducated people are hired as managers on the discretion of the owner who is not so educated himself, and thus the business is not being run properly and employees harbour a lot of dissatisfaction.Pay is the bare minimum whereas other mobile company dealers pay competitive wages. Another con is that employees' efforts are not recognized whereas those managers are praised even if they are inefficient. Customer base is also pretty dissatisfied as a result of which the employees have to deal with their unpleasantness. Scheduling of shifts is done on ad hoc basis due to which its difficult for people to juggle their other responsibilities.
Pros
Independence
Cons
Inefficient management, unhelpful attitude, low compensation, no recognition of efforts, ineffective training, uncertain schedules

The company it self is very poorly managed, they do not manage the stores well either. The only benefit was the commission structure was very good and extremely helpful for students especially.

great customer service experience
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  emonton,AB29 December 2016
I generally at my store at 9:30am and start with cash and inventory count and set up the system for daily operations. as the customers come I keep assisting them according to their need. they come for various enquiries such as new activations, hardware upgrade, bill payments, transfer of responsibility, technical assistance, and many more. at the end of the day I finally update the daily activation file, review the inventory and order if something needed.

I learnt to handle different kinds of people and manage store efficiently.

the most stressful part of the job is when there is a que of 7 to 8 customers and i am working alone so it becomes a little tricky to give everyone same attention.

the most enjoyable part of this job is getting along with variety of people from different community
Pros
independent working
