Customer Service & Technical Support (Current Employee) –  Brampton, ON5 December 2018
Really good place to start. Work is less busy in the morning, however, as the day pass by it will start getting busier and busier. Management is really good at taking care of the employees.

The workplace culture at freedom was a lot of young students around the same age and the hardest part of the job was to always meet your target during the slower months.

Team Lead Help Desk Tier (Current Employee) –  Toronto, ON29 September 2018
Very fast paced environment. Critical thinking is important as any particular issue can arise but its always reassuring that Helpful people are around to bounce ideas off of.

A few of my duties involve:

-Escalating reported issues to various departments
-Training, Coaching, Motivating the team to provide exceptional customer service to clients
-Providing technical assistance for Mobile end users.
- Providing monthly performance reports on Team members and Monthly reports on escalated issues.

Good Learning Experience. Every employee is working towards the excellence instead completing the job. Top Management has clarity of future technologies and they keep eye on the competition.

Team Leader (Former Employee) –  Windsor, ON5 August 2018
A very mickey mouse operation. Management seems to make things up as they go; and never communicate their vision to the frontline staff that has to deal with the customers.

easy work

bad management

Training is a bit lacking. I would suggest to work for corporate, the franchises can be confusing what you can and can't do. It is good for someone looking to get some customer service experience.
Pros
Learn about old plans.
Cons
Minimum wage with no commission.

Sales and goal driven, can be busy but also with slower times to get store cleaning complete
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Barrie, ON13 June 2018
I loved working with this company. The hours and the commission were a really great perk. There was a lot to learn from this job as it was my first sales respresentative and sales target driven job.
The hardest part would probably be when a customer comes in and you have to de-escalate the situation which wasn't actually all that difficult.
Pros
Commission on top of the hourly rate
Cons
Hard to book time off as there were very few employees

An impression of Freedom Mobile
Retail Specialist (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON3 May 2018
The team at Freedom Mobile of the Dixie Outlet mall location is very helpful. The company does ensure its employees has all the necessities to live a fulfilled life such as 100% insurance coverage for dental, or prescriptions which is very crucial to those working minimum wage and may not be able to afford such needs. The company could be a little more flexible and reduce the mandatory minimum shifts to stay on the payroll; however, as a whole, I will definitely recommend any sort of employment opportunities with Freedom Mobile.
