Very Pushy Sales manager

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
ProsA decent experience overall, benefits which is rare to see for such an entry level job and opportunity for commission. Great job for students. Coworkers are nice and easy to get along with. Pressure to meet sales targets and little consistency between departments can be frustrating

It was a Freedom dealer store.

I was interviewed for a dealer store. And I was said that I’ll be on training period for 2 weeks then I’ll start getting commission. The dealer started my commission after a month and when I asked him that when “ILL GET MY COMMISSION “? He said that I’ll get my commission after 60 DAYS . It has been more then 3 months I’ve been working in that store and I’ve still not received my commission. Moreover, THEY PAID ME MONTHLY AND NOT BIWEEKLY WHICH THEY NEVER TOLD ME BEFORE JOINING THEM

Poor Management

Beware of working for an authorized Dealer for freedom mobile. How you will notice if it's corporate or a dealer is the poor quality in management. They prey on the weak and vulnerable. They pay the bare minimum and don't offer what they promise you "base + commission". Your lucky if you make It past the 2 week working there if you don't realize your being lied to. Best advice is the work for corporate.

Cons

Poor management, unprofessional

A good challenge to put your selling skills to the teest

Job is good in itself; there is a good balance between working on your own customer service skills and being of help to the company. A lot of resources to use to better your knowledge on the company.

great customer service experience

I generally at my store at 9:30am and start with cash and inventory count and set up the system for daily operations. as the customers come I keep assisting them according to their need. they come for various enquiries such as new activations, hardware upgrade, bill payments, transfer of responsibility, technical assistance, and many more. at the end of the day I finally update the daily activation file, review the inventory and order if something needed. I learnt to handle different kinds of people and manage store efficiently. the most stressful part of the job is when there is a que of 7 to 8 customers and i am working alone so it becomes a little tricky to give everyone same attention. the most enjoyable part of this job is getting along with variety of people from different community

Pros

independent working

Cons

long hours
