Nurse in Langley, BC

Not enough funding for enough staff
All units are shortstaffed, therefore the staff to patient ratios and daily workload for each staff member is too high. It's stressful and draining if you care a lot about your patients (and colleagues) and feel bad to see them suffering.

Stressful and dictator style management
No work life balance, very stressful position and a male boss that did not like women very much. You get blacklisted if you complain. No opportunity for advancement if they don’t like you.
