Fun
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 16 September 2023
Fun environment. Chill coworkers. Good discount. Bad and inconsistent hours. Feet can get sore on busy days from running around and climbing ladders. Stock room is your best friend so make sure to get familiar with it

Fun and always keeping you on your toes.
Marketing Director, North America (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 26 August 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Filled with growth opportunity, co workers were like family. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The constantly changing marketplace and keeping up with consumer demands. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Like any company there are ups and downs and not everyone you work with is going to be your best friend. But the company recognise diversity and is always looking for ways too improve the environment to ensure all feel welcomed and are included.

Fair pay, fun environment
Manager (Former Employee) - Canada - 12 August 2023
Pay was fair and the job isn't bad if you are into the merchandise. Need to hit sales goals but ability to make bonus monthly was nice. Would recommend as a place to work in retail

Fun easy going
Supervisor (Former Employee) - Alberta - 26 July 2023
Fun workplace good for a first job hard to move up in smaller stores. You can learn a lot of you apply yourself. We’re short staffed for a lot of the time.

Fun job
Associée aux ventes (Current Employee) - Montréal, QC - 24 July 2023
The staff is what makes the work fun. Customers can get pretty rude and expect a very fast service. You will get no upgrade on the salary with time so no opportunities on the long term.

Fun workplace
Part Time Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 20 May 2023
This was my first job, and I am grateful for the 4 years of experience this company gave me. Most of the people I worked with were young, from 16-25, so it can be a fun first job.
Pros
Discounts, commission
Cons
Not enough hours as most are in malls, which are baren in the off seasons.

Jobs at Foot Locker
Correcte
Représentant des ventes (Former Employee) - Montréal, QC - 16 May 2023
Pros
Employés et rabais
Cons
Communication, pression

Great coworkers
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Kamloops - 24 April 2023
Coworkers were almost always a good time, definitely a relaxed job, and keeps you busy when needed, I’d recommend this job, especially they had good hours for while I was at school.

ok
Retail Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 30 March 2023
Good for a while but cut shifts constantly. Management is strict and rude and if you are not favoured you will get any benefits. My location was okay.

Fun part time job
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Burnaby, BC - 28 March 2023
Nice part time job with a decent discount (30% off normally and 50% off employee sales) Managers are nice and only ask for effort. Great for students.

Stressful Workplace with Arrogant DM’s/SM. They will also Lie about promotions to keep you around.
Assistant Store Manager (Former Employee) - Kitchener, ON - 11 March 2023
The District Managers, especially in southern Ontario are very much stuck in their ways and don’t implement anything new and improved. The only things they implemented was twists on their old tricks that no longer work. One tactic they also use is every 2 months they will come to you and talk about how many great opportunities their will be for their ASM’s but consistently across all stores they continue to lie to ASM’s pay them $16/hr just to keep them around.
Pros
Discounts on Clothes/Shoes
Cons
Long Hours, Uncompetitive Pay/Terrible Pay

cool people, stingy company
Sales Associate/Cashier (Current Employee) - Surrey, BC - 23 February 2023
really cool environment to work in and met a lot of great people BUT hours are very inconsistent, can range from 25 hours in a week to 4, employee discount is less than in other places and does not even apply to certain shoe releases.
Pros
discount, co-workers, culture
Cons
no growth, minimum wage, no job stability

Great for part timers
Full Time Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Ontario - 20 February 2023
This is a great job for part-timers. If you want to be a manager, I suggest looking elsewhere. Corporate only sees you as a #, not as a person. You are not heard in this company and expected to fall in line. It is very stressful and the company lacks compassion toward its employees.
Pros
Easy job for a part-timer
Cons
Stressful

Good music and discounts
Cashier/Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 26 January 2023
Foot locker is the worst company to work for. You are replaceable immediately. There’s so much favouritism in this company it’s ridiculous. There’s no growth in the company, they look over staff who have been there for years that know the company inside and out but will hire people who don’t know anything about the company or sneakers.
Pros
Company discount
Cons
Minimum wage

Waste of time and no work life balance
Large Volume Store Manager (Former Employee) - Calgary, AB - 26 January 2023
As a manager they expect 24/7 work but only pay hourly. Upper management lacks compassion and staff are often unmotivated. As a manager it's your responsibility to keep everyone working hard but you are encouraged to hire staff with a specific personality "sneakerheads" and unfortunatly the mentality of these employees is they are there to be cool and any type of negative feedback can cause them to complain at this point Upper management doesn't have their managers backs and makes it impossible to drive success out of fear of retaliation. They are notorious for firing people that don't fit in. They set standards but don't allow them to be achieved. Very stressful environments. We're even encouraged to break covid protocol. They require staff to use their personal phones for work constantly and offer no reimbursement.
Pros
Good discounts, casual dress, bonus
Cons
Unfair expectations, poor Upper Management, false culture, non inclusive, age biased, unprofessional, unsafe
