Food Service Worker in Greely, ON

Nice place to work but they cut hours a lot
Really nice people at work. Except they keep cutting hours (we now have to do the work of multiple people by ourselves...very stressful). Otherwise, management is great, (very few mistakes in the schedule, but if there are they are easily fixed) co-workers and supervisors there are really kind. Rare that there are mean customers.
Bakery Clerk in Toronto, ON

The store owners are impossible to work for. They make people work 6-7 days a week for little pay. Working as a CSR, you will be made to do your own work and the managers job as well. They also make you feel guilty about taking your break

Demolishes your mental health
With each employee fighting against each-other trying to get everyone in trouble as entertainment to satisfy themselves. Bosses aren’t understanding, nor are they respectful. Quick to point fingers and blame you for things you didn’t do and could be easily solved by looking at cameras. The bosses will also never admit to their faults or apologize after getting you in trouble for something you didn’t do and then proving your truth to them. Overall this workplace belittled me daily and destroyed my mental health in 3 short years as a part-time high-school student employee.

great for students or a temporary position, not for a career
If your student this is a great job. Reasonable hours during school and in the summers. The hours are decent and store closes fairly early. I found this perfect for a first time job, or a temporary position. It is very hard to advance as a career, and there is always drama in every department. Also the management chooses favourites and if you don't do everything perfect you get difficult hours (11 am to 7 pm).

Good team work
Great team work also very informal and great people good working conditions and very friendly prices in the meat department are always reasonable and have been great keeping up with the craziness due to Covid-19.
